I will start as an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Washington in March 2022, working on the engineering challenges hindering the scaling of ion traps past tens of qubits.

I am currently an Intelligence Community Postdoctoral Fellow in the Ion Trap Group at UC Berkeley. I received my PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in the Quantum Photonics Laboratory at MIT, and my master’s work was done in the Optical and Quantum Communications Group at MIT.

I also led iQuISE, a student-led seminar series on quantum information science and engineering.
